SAN FRANCISCO WEDDING & EVENT FLORAL ARTIST

SERVING NORTH BAY, MARIN, & SONOMA COUNTIES

Florals have a way of speaking to us

It’s a language that’s been passed down through generations, woven into stories for centuries.

Each flower holds meaning. Peonies for abundance, ranunculus for charm, roses for devotion, dahlias for play.

But sometimes, it’s not about the symbolism. It’s simply how a flower makes you feel.

Maybe your grandmother always had peonies on the table, and you want to bring that warmth into your bouquet. Or maybe you’re marking a new chapter and want your florals to symbolize strength. Maybe you just love the color red and want that pop of energy at your event.

The language of flowers is personal.

Through meaning.

Our job? To take that meaning and turn it into something beautiful. Something that makes you feel the way you want to feel. Something you’ll never see anywhere else. Something you’ll never forget.

It’s your story, told in petals, leaves, and stems. Let’s tell it together.

Our Approach

It's so much more than putting flowers in pretty bundles

  • Flowers as meaning, presence, and Altar

Flowers have always carried something deeper. Long before they were Pinterest inspiration, they were offerings. Symbols of love, protection, transformation.

We don’t just work with flowers. We honor their stories and create floral art that holds space and shifts the energy around you.

  • Atmosphere over arrangement

We don't design arrangements that sit in a space, we design florals that become the space.

Like lighting or music, they set the mood. Every installation is architectural, sculptural, part of the room's energy from the moment you walk in. They make the room feel alive.

  • Ritual without the woo

Symbolism doesn’t need to be heavy or spiritual to make an impact. It’s about presence. Every moment deserves intention.

From deep breaths during your consult to a hand-dyed bridal kimono made with your wedding blooms, we help you infuse meaning into every detail. It’s your story, told simply, beautifully.

  • Wild, organic, beautiful…Sustainable.

We draw our inspiration from wild & beautiful nature. We don't force flowers into shape or rely on floral foam (or use it at all).

We work with what's in season, what's local when we can, and what can be reused. Because honoring nature means designing like we're part of it.

  • We want you to be soothed, not stressed

Wedding planning is chaotic enough. Florals should be the part that brings you calm.

We won’t overload you with choices. Instead, we focus on how you want your day to feel and curate that into an experience made just for you. Trust us with your vision, we’ll handle the rest.

  • Not just a florist.  A floral artist.

Florals are a medium, and we’re artists. Every arrangement we create is a work of art, designed with texture, movement, and feeling.

Our clients don’t come for basic centerpieces. They come for something with soul. Something unique. Something they know they’ll never forget.

MEET THE ARTIST & ALCHEMIST

BEHIND ALTAR FLORALS

I’m Gina Rose Baiamonte.

That’s right, I’m a floral artist with the “rose” in my name. Some things are just meant to be.

In fact, my name translates to Queen of the Rose where the Bay meets the Mountain. I get it from my mama.

I didn’t set out to be a florist. I was an artist first. Painting, crafting, working with my hands. But flowers have always found me, even before I knew I was looking for them. My mom nudged me toward it, telling me to take a class. I did, and before I knew it, I was knee-deep in weddings, installations, and figuring out how to make a 10-foot floral arch defy gravity.

Now, after hundreds of weddings, installations, and floral experiences, I know this work inside and out. I know how florals move through a space, how they hold energy, how they don’t just decorate but affect feeling. But the more I worked with flowers, the more I realized…I wasn’t just arranging. I was listening. I was translating.

I studied with elders, trained in herbalism, plant medicine, and floral folklore. I learned how flowers hold history, how they carry weight, how they can turn a fleeting moment into something that goes deeper. This isn’t just design. It’s art. It’s storytelling. It’s energy work. It’s the quiet alchemy of taking something ephemeral and making it last.

That’s what Altar Floral is. A blending of worlds.

The precision of high-end floral design with the depth of ritual. A respect for nature’s beautiful wildness, shaped into something intentional.

Let’s create something that lingers. Let’s make it feel like more.

Let’s turn florals into something with meaning.
